Firestation

Daemon is going through his naked phase right now. He can usually handle having pants on but most of the time he rather just be in a daiper, maybe a hat, and socks or shoes. It's fun/intersting to be going through this, james never really had a naked phase. Anyways I thought it was just cute.

For playgroup on Tuesday we got to go to the local fire station! James was so excited. He always tells me he can't be a fireman because he doesn't have a helmet, well now he can. James was one of the most outgoing of the group of kids there.

Sitting on the fire truck they thought they were so cool.

James did not want to take off the helmet. He thought it was the coolest thing to be able to wear a real fireman's helmet. If I wouldn't have made him take it off he probably would have tried to walk out with it.

James was excited of course to be able to squirt water out of the hose. He was the first one to get up there and do.

Daemon saw James do it and timidly kept walking a little closer until he got there. He was not to sure about what was going on, but was so proud of himself after he was done and had a big smile on his face!

There was only 3 moms and 5 kids that showed up so Fireman Joe, that was the name of the chief that gave us the tour, asked if we wanted to go for a ride in the fire truck. We were all excited at that, even the moms. James got lucky and got to sit in the front with Fireman Joe. He was tickled pink about that. Joe was honking the horn and doing the sirens. It was fun, and cars kept pulling over for us. After the ride James didn't want to get out of the truck but I finally convinced him too.

Daemon just chillin' on the fire truck.

Of course they brought in there gear for the kids to look at and try on. He just looks so cool. And of course he thought he was the coolest thing ever.
After doign all the fun stuff for the kids, we went on a tour around the fire house. It is a brand new fire house so it was cool to see what they had done. The kids like the living quarters, they had about 5 recliners, and they thought that was cool. James jump up and one and was ready to watch the big tv. We are excited to go back again we had so much fun.
