Birthday Week

We have had a week full of birthday fun! It all stated on James' birthday on Friday Feb 25th. I tried to through James a small surprise party with some of his friends we don't see a lot, but his co-worker blow it. But, James was wonderful and acted very surprised! I forgot to take pictures :(. So we had family and some friends over some pizza and hanging out. It was a lot of fun to hang out with some old friends and James really enjoyed it and that is what matters.

Then on Saturday we celebrated Abby's birthday. I made these to let people know about our party
Our birthday girl!!

And of course Cake time!! look at those rolls!

Sugar rush, but oh so good
got to have a crowd to be a princess

We had a great time hanging out with family, talking, and of course eating! It was a great way to celebrate Abby's Birthday.

Then came Wednesday, mine and Abby's birthday. Poor Abby has been having a lot of problems with ear infections so on James' birthday we met with an ENT to talk about doing tubes. After meeting with him, we scheduled the surgery, and of course he only does surgery on Wednesdays. Which meant our birthday. But the tubes NEEDED to be done, Abby had lost 30% of her hearing already in one ear, so we scheduled the surgery. We got to Primary Children's Hospital at about 6:45am, got checked in, waited, went back to meet with the nurse, waited, met with the nurse and got cleared for the surgery, went to the waiting room, waited, talked to the Dr., then they took Abby back for the surgery. I went to the parents waiting room and called James to see how him and the boys were doing. Started reading and the Dr. came in to let me know how the surgery wen, about 20 minutes after they took Abby in. I waited a little longer, then the nurse came to get me to take me to Abby. She was awake and drinking some juice. We sat down cuddled and made sure everything was okay, then we left the Hospital at about 9:20. Abby was quite cranky for most of the day, but she did her present from mom and dad and enjoyed that for the afternoon and so did the boys. Daemon and James were having so much fun push Abby around on her new toy. I even got to sneak out and get a pedicure.
It was a great birthday week, and know it's time to start thinking about the next birthday.

To go along with Abby's first birthday, and Abby's first surgery, she also got her first pony tail! We are truly loving having this little girl in our family, even though she is becoming more of a stinker. The boys love her so much also.
