Our original idea when we bought James bed didn't work, and so now that he is ready for a big boy bed we decided to boy new beds. We are in the process of selling James old bed and these are the beds we got to replace his bed and Daemons breaking toddler bed. The original beds we wanted were from Ikea that matched their dressers but they stopped selling them, :( so we went with the next best thing within our budget, which were beds from Ikea, just a little different finish.I know it's not the greatest picture but oh well. The kids love their new beds and are doing great in them. James does miss his latter once in awhile but it's so nice he can make his own bed now! The only problem with them is that there has been some jumping off and one day if one of the boys doesn't land right there will be a sore or cracked open head. We are working though on teaching them that it is not okay to jump of their beds. The boys love there new sleeping place now we just have to work on a new sleeping place for our little girl on the way since the crib was a bit broken....

I like the new beds, they look really nice!!!
Scott finished framing all the new walls in the original part of the house yesterday...and as I walked through it was weird to think that we might actually have bedrooms in a couple months...;) Right now we're in the playroom, Halle's in the basement bathroom, Olivia's under the stairs, and Wes is in the unfinished basement. Yeah....nice, I know. ;)
Anyway, your setup looks great! I think we'll probably put the girls together in the bigger bedroom, and Wes alone in the smaller. To be regular people...it will be a little weird. Living vicariously through you until then! ;)
